We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Area Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations across multiple client sites around Barnsley. In this key role, you’ll ensure that high cleaning standards are consistently maintained, manage a team of cleaning operatives, and act as the main point of contact for both clients and staff. You’ll play a vital role in delivering a safe, professional, and efficient cleaning service. The role is 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day, with various shift patterns that may include split shifts. It may occasionally include weekend working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise cleaning teams across multiple locations, ensuring sites are maintained to contract standards.
- Plan, allocate, and monitor staff schedules, covering absences and holidays where required.
- Carry out regular site inspections and quality audits.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of cleaning operatives.
- Manage stock levels and order cleaning materials/equipment as needed.
- Ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.
