Groundworker – Potters Bar Company: Norse Contracts Location: Potters Bar, Hertfordshire Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Job Description Norse Contracts are looking for experienced Groundworkers and Gangs to join us on a year-long project, working Saturdays, at our site in Potters Bar. We welcome applications from local operatives and those travelling from further afield. Duties will include: * Excavation and reduced dig works, including trenching for services * Installation of drainage systems, including pipe laying and manhole construction * Laying kerbs, edgings and sub-base for roads and hardstanding areas * Formwork and steel fixing for foundations and concrete bases * Pouring and finishing concrete to a high standard * Reading and working accurately from site drawings and setting-out information * Operating hand tools and small plant (whackers, disc cutters, breakers) safely * Working closely with the site team to maintain programme and quality standards * Ensuring all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations * Keeping the work area clean, tidy and hazard-free at all times Requirements: * CSCS card (essential) * Previous groundworking experience on similar projects * Own PPE * Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic * Willingness to travel to Potters Bar
