We are working with an established developer near Peterborough on the lookout for an experienced Site QS to join them on a self-build industrial unit scheme. The client operates on a self-delivery model, so you'll be working closely with their team in a hands-on, client-side capacity.
The role:
- Cost planning, budgeting and cost control
- Subcontractor procurement and tendering
- Measurement, valuations and payment management
- Variation and change control
- Final account negotiation
- General QS support across the project lifecycle
What you'll need:
- Solid QS experience on industrial, warehouse or similar commercial schemes
- Comfortable in a site-based, client-side or intermediary QS role
- Able to start within approximately one month
- MRICS preferred but not essential – experience is what counts
Terms:
The client is open to both full-time permanent and freelance/contract arrangements. Remuneration is negotiable depending on experience and preferred working arrangement.
