Pipelayers / Drainage Gangs Required – Major Civils Project, Howden, Leeds

Location: Howden, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Rate: Negotiable (DOE)

Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Contract / Temporary

We are urgently seeking 2 x 4-man drainage gangs to work on a major civils scheme involving road formation in the Howden area of Leeds. This is a great opportunity for experienced gangs to secure ongoing work on a high-profile project.

Each gang must consist of:

  • 1 x 360 Operator / Ganger / Pipelayer (minimum SSSTS)
  • 1 x Pipelayer
  • 1 x Topman / Groundworker
  • 1 x additional groundworker to complete the 4-man team

Essential requirements across each gang:

  • At least 1 operative holding a valid Confined Spaces ticket
  • At least 1 operative holding a valid Slinger/Signaller ticket
  • Minimum SSSTS for the Ganger/Supervisor
  • All operatives must hold a valid CSCS card
  • Experience working on deep drainage, ranging from 2m to 5m in depth

Project details:

  • Major civils project involving road formation works
  • Drainage works ranging from 2 metres up to 5 metres deep
  • Full PPE required
