Join Norse TFM and take charge of key client contracts. This is a chance to truly own performance, lead a great team, and make a tangible impact on our service delivery. We're searching for someone who takes pride in managing complex operations and building strong client partnerships. If you're a hands‑on leader who can balance financial goals with outstanding service, and you're keen to drive improvements, then this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Leading your team: Providing clear direction and communication to your facilities management team, including middle and first-line managers and their direct reports.
  • Building client trust: Managing client relationships effectively through clear communication, regular meetings, and proactively setting expectations.
  • Meeting contract targets: Ensuring all contractual agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met, including completing statutory and non-statutory Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules on time.
  • Managing workflows: Making sure our CAFM (Computer‑Aided Facilities Management) system is used correctly. You'll keep Work In Progress for both reactive and planned tasks moving smoothly, ensuring contractual response times and uploading all necessary evidence to the system.
  • Controlling finances: Ensuring Profit & Loss (P&L) performance meets or goes beyond budget. You'll prepare and submit forecasts and budgets punctually, follow internal financial processes, meet accounting deadlines, and pinpoint any budget differences.
  • Setting standards: Establishing efficient workflows, practices, and standards to guarantee both budget compliance and contract delivery.
  • Upholding quality: Managing all quality aspects of our operations, ensuring compliance with relevant ISO accreditations and our internal quality management system. This means keeping all important quality documents (like SLAs) current.
  • Handling special projects: Coordinating various additional projects as they arise.
  • Finding better ways: Actively seeking out and putting into practice improvements to our services.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in a Project Manager or Contracts Manager role, ideally within a facilities management (FM) setting.
  • Experience in managing diverse teams and contractors.
  • Familiarity with managing compliance using information systems (such as CAFM).
  • Experience of working in both the private and public sectors.
  • The ability to organise and manage your own workload and your team's tasks in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
  • A strong talent for building good relationships with a wide range of colleagues and external partners.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential due to travel requirements.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of up to £53,214.59, dependent on experience (DOE).
  • 25 days of annual leave, plus all recognised bank holidays.
  • A 4+4 sickness scheme.
  • Access to a Statutory Nest pension scheme.

We are committed to employment practices and behaviours which encourage diversity, promote equality of treatment and eliminate unlawful and or unfair discrimination.
