Trainee Surveyor
About us
We like things to look great, to fit, work well, and last a long time. For us it happens to be windows and doors, but it could just as easily be something completely different. Great engineering, pleasing aesthetics and superb products that are loved by our customers – that’s what we’re all about. And, we really value and invest in our people.
About you
Are you good with detail? Here’s a flavour. There are architectural details, building regulations, hidden details, difficult to work out details, manufacturing constraints, paint finishes, handles, “make sizes”, and that’s just the tip of this particular detail iceberg. Is this you?
However this is a trainee role. You might be a graduate, an architectural technician with a hankering an outdoors element to their job or even a school leaver with the right aptitude and attitude. Or maybe you\’re looking for a career change. You may work with different details, in a different industry. Don’t worry, let’s discover the overlaps and be ready to pursue the opportunities.
You’ll be great if you are…
- A stickler for detail
- A logical thinker
- Numerate
- Able to visualise details in 3D
- Comfortable with working at heights
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to navigate to far flung places (in a company provided vehivle)
- A clear communicator, effective in dealing with customers, site managers and architects
- Able to use CAD
You’ll be even better if you…
You have all the above and you bring bonus “smarts”; experiences, qualities and capabilities that we didn’t know to ask for.
