We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as a Repair Responsible for our Flagship Store in London! Located on the iconic Regent Street, your office will be in our Flagship Store in London. Our repair center is an instrumental part of the overall customer experience as it shows Norrøna’s commitment to keeping their products in use. The role is also part of a broader network of Repair Responsibles in Flagship Stores across Oslo and Stockholm, and soon in the US. You will also be working with the HQ repair team in Oslo.

We are looking for a skilled Repair Responsible to give the best possible service to our customers in our London Flagship, but also throughout the country as repairs are being sent to the store from all over the United Kingdom. You will act as our main point of contact for our customers and be in charge of repairing Norrøna products as well as providing advice on DIY repair tips and product care.

How you’ll contribute

  • Handle, repair (sew) and improve products sent as repairs/warranty or as product improvements.
  • Contribute to finding effective ways of handling our service orders connected to the store.
  • Work closely with the rest of the Retail Team on building knowledge around the services delivered through our repair center.
  • Provide feedback on product issues and repairs that are sent into the global product RD&D team.
  • Plan and order spare parts and fabrics each season in coordination with HQ service center.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to all customers in store.
  • When needed, work together with the central customer relations team to support customers in the UK.

We believe you’ll succeed in this job if

  • You have experience from repairing or tailoring, with good knowledge of standard equipment used in the sewing industry, flatlock, overlock, etc., as well as gluing.
  • You are self-motivated, proactive and solution seeking.
  • You have great interest in high quality outdoor products, and contributing to our sustainability goals of making our products last as long as possible.
  • You are able to build good customer relations.

Qualifications & skills

  • Education within tailoring, pattern making or design.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience in working with technical wear and products is a plus.
  • Communication skills in English both written and speaking.
