Are you passionate about working with children and looking for a rewarding career? We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Kids Club Activity Leader to join the team at Norris Bank Primary School. You will play a vital role in providing safe, fun, and educational experiences for primary school children. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to create a high-quality, child-focused play environment. This position will be based in our Kids Club which offers a safe and happy ‘home from home’ play based environment.

If you would like to join our Laurus family in a rewarding role that changes the lives of our pupils by empowering them to become the best that they can be then we would love to hear from you. We have up to 18 hours per week available on a Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

Job Purpose

* Supervise children, organising/preparing appropriate play-based activities and ensuring the environment is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each session.

* Provide a high quality, child-centred play setting that meets the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs.

Key Skills & Experience
  • Ability to support play activities that children enjoy
  • Experience of working with children aged 4 –11 years would be an advantage
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
