Trainee Client Advisor – Insurance Broking

We have a vacancy for a Trainee Insurance Broker specialising in the Charity sector to join our team based in Southampton City Centre during a very exciting time for our company. No previous insurance knowledge is required as full training and support will be provided which will include the opportunity to undertake industry qualifications if desired. We love to watch our team progress and grow; in fact managers and team leaders also started as trainee brokers with our company.

The Role

The position is a full time role within our Village Hall Team which will mainly involve communicating with our clients and insurers by telephone, email and letter about new and existing policies and any claims that arise. Exemplary customer service is our priority and they should be at the heart of everything that you do. Some other admin type work and general office duties will also be required.

About You

• Has a confident telephone manner
• Has good literacy and numeracy skills with good attention to detail
• A strong customer focus with a friendly and approachable attitude
• Is able to use own initiative but work as part of a team

What We Provide

• Starting salary between £24,000 and £25,000
• 22 days holiday, plus bank holidays. Increasing to 25 days after 5 full years with the company, plus bank holidays
