NORNORM is a fast‑growing circular scale‑up redefining the workspace industry through a subscription model that's better for people, businesses, and the planet. As we expand in the UK, we’re looking for ambitious Junior Business Development Representatives who want to learn how business really happens: through conversations, trust, and long‑term relationships.

You’ll spend your days doing outbound outreach by phone, email, and LinkedIn, going after new business with real intent. You’re building a skillset most people never fully master:

  • Starting high‑quality conversations with people you’ve never met
  • Turning “not interested” into “let’s talk”
  • Building relationships with decision‑makers across commercial real‑estate and the workplace industry
  • Creating opportunities that turn into real partnerships and long‑term clients
  • Building a personal network that will follow you throughout your career

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify, research and contact relevant companies and reach out via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Qualify leads, follow up, and book meetings that actually matter
  • Learn to understand a prospect’s business, workspace needs, and potential fit for NORNORM’s furniture‑as‑a‑service model
  • Own your pipeline from day one, with support and coaching along the way
  • Keep your CRM data accurate and up to date
  • Work closely with Sales and Customer Success to sharpen your approach
  • Collaborate with – and occasionally travel to – colleagues across Europe (offices in Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Stockholm)

Success in this role means building a strong pipeline of qualified meetings, creating new commercial relationships, closing opportunities and helping NORNORM become better known across the UK workspace market. This is not a desk‑only BDR role. You’ll be expected to build relationships both digitally and in person across the UK workspace ecosystem.

Is this role for you?

  • Early in your career and ready to build strong commercial skills fast; sales experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Coming from a customer‑facing, service‑oriented, or performance‑driven background, whether that’s retail, hospitality, sports, fundraising, or a student job, where you’ve learned how to read people and build rapport
  • Confident and outgoing, energised by talking to new people
  • Ambitious, curious, and interested in a future within business development, partnerships, or commercial roles
  • Driven by the thrill of the chase – you have a natural hunter mindset and a genuine “always be closing” mentality

What we’re looking for

  • A proactive, commercial mindset – you enjoy identifying opportunities, opening conversations, and moving prospects towards a clear next step
  • Ambitious, curious, and a fast learner
  • Confident speaking with new people and able to build trust quickly
  • Proactive – you don’t wait for opportunities, you create them
  • Structured and consistent in your follow‑up
  • Thrives in a performance‑driven environment
  • Fluent, confident English, written and spoken

We value flexibility, but please note that this is an office‑first role with an expectation of being on‑site at least four days per week in London.

Why join NORNORM?

  • Extensive personal and professional development opportunities
  • A high‑trust culture where initiative is rewarded
  • We’re building something that genuinely makes an impact

Essentially, joining NORNORM means being part of something bigger: scaling circularity across the workspace industry while growing in an environment that values curiosity, courage, and collaboration.
