We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Operations & Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end operations across Europe, Eurasia and Africa (EEA). This role is critical in driving operational excellence, optimizing supply chain performance, and enabling business growth in a complex, multi-country environment. The role is based in Coventry, UK. About 20% of the working time is spent travelling to Austria, and occasionally to other countries in the EEA region. This role reports to Global Operations Head.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Leadership
- Oversee manufacturing, tolling operations, and plant performance across the region
- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and productivity improvements
- Ensure compliance with EHS, quality, and regulatory standards
- Supply Chain Management
- Lead integrated supply chain planning (S&OP / IBP) across demand, supply, and inventory
- Optimize logistics, warehousing, and distribution networks across EEA
- Manage supplier performance and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Strategic Initiatives
- Develop and execute regional manufacturing and supply chain strategies
- Evaluate make vs. buy and toll manufacturing opportunities
- Drive digitalization and process standardization initiatives
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with commercial, R&D, procurement, and global teams
- Act as a key interface between regional operations and global leadership
- 8-12 years of experience in Operations & Supply Chain, preferably in construction chemicals, specialty chemicals, or manufacturing industries
- Strong exposure to multi-country operations in Europe / EEA (Europe, Eurasia, Africa) region
- Proven experience in S&OP / IBP processes and supply chain transformation
- Strong leadership and team management skills in matrix organizations
- Experience in toll manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and outsourcing models
- Educational background in Engineering / Chemistry is required; MBA would be considered as an advantage
- Fluent English both written and spoken is required. Other language skills such as German or French would be considered as an advantage
