Step Into the Role
With a degree in a science-related subject, you will analyse and investigate results for a range of scientific work alongside Senior Analysts and Technicians.
Main responsibilities
- Analysis and preparation of laboratory samples and reagents in accordance with laboratory test procedures.
- Responsible for hitting daily targets and deadlines as set by the Team Leader
- The calculation and interpretation of analytical results.
- Ensuring Health and Safety and Quality procedures are adhered to.
- Data entry into LIMS.
- Calibration, equipment and balance checks.
- Housekeeping, ensuring the laboratory work area is clean, tidy and free from rubbish.
- Part of the weekend rota team.

Your profile
Qualifications required
- HNC or degree in a science related subject
- Two years laboratory experience.
- Experience using GC-FID, GCGC, GC-MS or LC-MS systems would be advantageous.
