Thank you for your interest in the role of our Class Teacher. Normanton Junior Academy is a forward-thinking, vibrant and inclusive 3-form entry junior school, with approximately 90 pupils in each year group. We pride ourselves on being a school that offers our pupils a well-rounded and truly enjoyable education, and place great emphasis on giving our children a wide range of opportunities in the arts, music and sport.

We were judged as continuing to be a ‘Good’ school, by Ofsted, in July 2023 and we are looking for an inspiring and dynamic Class Teacher to join our fantastic team. Our school is also in an extremely strong, stable position and therefore we would like to hear from candidates who are Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to experienced Upper Pay Scale practitioners.
