As a Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in leading a dedicated team, driving store performance, and providing top-tier service to every customer that visits our store.
What you'll do:
- Work with the management team to deliver exceptional customer service, while ensuring best practices, policies, and procedures are followed by the team as a whole.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, supporting your team by managing resources, time, and actively working alongside them on the shop floor.
- Utilise your knowledge of merchandising to drive retail success.
- Motivate and lead your team to exceed targets and achieve goals.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Oversee cash management and ensure accuracy.
- Contribute fresh ideas to drive store priorities and performance.
- Step into the Post Office role when required.
What we're looking for:
- 12 months' experience in a retail environment.
- 12 months' experience in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Passion for customer service and team success.
- Experience of managing cash and resources effectively.
- Must be 18+ and able to pass a Basic Disclosure check (due to legislation).
- Understanding of commerciality in a retail environment.
- Spar/Post Office Experience is highly desirable.
Additional Info:
- Pay: £14.35 - £14.85 based on experience.
- Expected hours: 16 - 42.5 per week.
- Benefits: Company pension, employee discounts, bonus schemes.
- Schedule: 8-9 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability essential.
- Store hours: 06.00 to 23.00, Monday to Sunday.
