Our client is a slow moving consumer goods company with a manufacturing site in Nottinghamshire. The Managing Director / CEO will be accountable for leading a team of Directors within:
- Commercial
- Develop a long term strategy for growth in domestic and international markets
- Ensure the company maintains its position as a major brand within the industry
- Monitor industry trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to ensure NPD leadership
- Expand retail partnerships including D2C
- Drive consumer engagement and route to market
- Manufacturing
- Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Robust supply chain management
- Effective procurement and cost saving exercises
- Finance
- Take full accountability for P&L, cashflow and financial performance
- Work with investors to provide budgets, forecasts and KPI objectives
- Transparency and visibility with the board, investors
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a Managing Director or CEO within consumer, manufacturing or lifestyle brands. You must have had experience of managing a large team in a company that has a turnover of over £50m. Private equity experience would be useful but not essential.
Excellent remuneration package including an equity/exit position for the right candidate.
