We are looking for an experienced and reliable Gas Safe Heating Engineer to join our growing team covering Manchester and the surrounding areas. This is a predominantly reactive role carrying out boiler repairs, servicing, heating maintenance and associated plumbing works in domestic properties. We're looking for someone who can diagnose faults efficiently, work independently, and deliver excellent customer service.
What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose, service and repair domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
- Carry out annual boiler services and landlord gas safety inspections.
- Fault-find heating and hot water systems.
- Complete plumbing and heating repairs including radiators, valves, cylinders, pipework and heating components.
- Explain faults and recommended repairs clearly to customers.
- Complete work safely and in accordance with Gas Safe regulations.
- Record job details using our mobile system.
- Attend reactive and emergency call-outs where required.
- Manage your own daily workload and appointments.
Requirements
- Current Gas Safe registration.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working on domestic boilers and heating systems.
- Strong plumbing and heating knowledge.
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on-site.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused.

- Experience across a wide range of boiler manufacturers.
- Knowledge of heating controls and system upgrades.
