Salary Grade - F

Salary band – £28,971- £31,034 (pro‑rated to £11,588 – £12,414). Placement on the grade is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Hours: Part time, fixed term to cover maternity leave, 14 hours per week (0.4 contract) over 2 days a week (Monday’s and Tuesday’s).

Location: Hybrid working. Office location: 39-41 Upper Oldfield Park, Bath, BA2 3LB.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance and support of the Research Fellow/Manager, conduct literature reviews/scoping studies.
  • Analyse primary data.
  • Produce research reports.
  • Support the Editor‑in‑Chief with the Norland Educare Research Journal.

Qualifications and Experience:

You must hold a PhD (or be in the process of completing a PhD) in education or a related field of study (e.g., psychology, health). This is a fixed‑term post only. The candidate will have experience in conducting research, collecting primary and secondary data, both qualitative and quantitative, and analysing and synthesising findings. Candidates should be confident in using databases for literature searches and have the knowledge or willingness to learn about different tools and platforms.
