Salary Grade - F

Salary band – £28,971- £31,034 (pro‑rated to £11,588 – £12,414). Placement on the grade is dependent on experience and qualifications.

Hours: Part time, fixed term to cover maternity leave, 14 hours per week (0.4 contract) over 2 days a week (Monday’s and Tuesday’s).

Location: Hybrid working. Office location: 39-41 Upper Oldfield Park, Bath, BA2 3LB.

Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance and support of the Research Fellow/Manager, conduct literature reviews/scoping studies.
  • Analyse primary data.
  • Produce research reports.
  • Support the Editor‑in‑Chief with the Norland Educare Research Journal.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • You must hold a PhD (or be in the process of completing a PhD) in education or a related field of study (e.g., psychology, health).
  • This is a fixed‑term post only.
  • The candidate will have experience in conducting research, collecting primary and secondary data, both qualitative and quantitative, and analysing and synthesising findings.
  • Candidates should be confident in using databases for literature searches and have the knowledge or willingness to learn about different tools and platforms.

  • Self‑starter, able to get on well with people, highly organised, capable of meeting deadlines, and work to a high level of accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
