Activate your potential – join NORIT, the world leader in activated carbon production! Join our team in a role of Technical Administrator in our Glasgow, UK site. In this role you will provide comprehensive administrative, technical, and documentation support to the Facility General Manager and the Maintenance function, including explicit support for calendar and email management, meeting coordination, and leadership action management support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide executive and administrative support to Facility General Manager, including diary management, correspondence, reports and meeting actions.
- Maintain maintenance work orders, notifications, asset records, and documentation within JDE/CMMS System.
- Manage contractor documentation including RAMS, insurance, competence certification, permits, and certificates.
- Raise and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders for maintenance activities, ensuring correct coding and audit traceability.
- Support reconciliation of goods receipts, service entries, and supplier queries.
- Maintain statutory compliance documentation for regulated assets and identify documentation gaps.
- Produce maintenance KPI’s and reports covering backlog, compliance, cost and contractor performance.
- Act as a key interface between Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, HSE, HR, Projects, and external contractors.
Requirements:
- Administrative, technical, or business-related education.
- At least 2+ years of experience in an administrative, technical support, or maintenance support role within manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of JDE or CMMS systems in an operational environment.
- Demonstrable experience supporting purchasing, documentation control, and compliance processes.
- Experience producing reports, trackers, dashboards and registers.
- Familiarity with maintenance workflows, contractor management, and statutory inspection.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to details.
