Product Marketing & Communications Manager (1 year fixed term contract) | Wheelabrator | Altrincham, Manchester

Are you ready to take on a new, exciting challenge? The Product Marketing Manager will be the driving force between Technology Center product/marketing plans and regional marketing implementation. They will work closely with product managers, sales and regions teams to create one marketing plan ensuring the successful global implementation of product marketing strategies with compelling digital and offline marketing communications. This role is pivotal in translating technical product innovations into compelling marketing campaigns while tailoring global strategies to regional needs and market dynamics.

Help us Shape Industry By:

  • Leading the creation of global marketing strategies and support PM with their product marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and seamless execution across regions.
  • Collaborating with product managers at the Technology Center to understand product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
  • Manage marketing projects and campaigns for the product portfolio, ensuring USPs and key messages are effectively communicated to stakeholders.
  • Support regional teams with up-to-date product information and sales enablement collateral.
  • Working closely with regional marketing managers to adapt global strategies for local markets, gathering feedback to refine and improve initiatives.
  • Driving seamless integration across marketing channels, ensuring consistency in online and offline communications.
  • Utilizing CRM data to develop tactical upsell and cross-sell campaigns, drive customer engagement, and support sales team follow-ups using best practice automation and personalization.
  • Developing and executing a content strategy to enhance the customer journey, optimizing web content for engagement and lead generation.
  • Partnering with creative teams and external agencies to develop integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, events, and PR.
  • Ensuring all marketing collateral is compelling, differentiated, and aligned with Norican brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Establishing KPIs for marketing campaigns, tracking performance across regions, and leveraging analytics to optimize results.
  • Strengthening Norican’s brand identity globally, ensuring consistency across marketing materials and communications.
  • Responsible for generic brand collateral and messages.
  • Monitor brand perception and implement strategies to enhance awareness and reputation.
  • Working with the corporate team to develop and execute strategies to drive qualified traffic to the website, optimizing lead generation and conversion into opportunities.
  • Tracking and analyzing marketing metrics, budgets, and campaign performance at local, regional, and global levels.

About You:

  • A progressive career with proven marketing management track record (min. 5 years) with a degree or marketing qualification.
  • Management of global activities, ideally from a B2B organization/company with an international focus.
  • Experience of developing a clear marketing strategy aligned to business goals and implemented with a clear commercial focus.
  • Brand management experience, ideally within a strong global brand and experience in implementing brand building initiatives.
  • Insight into, and solid experience with identifying target audiences and personalized plans for customers using CRM, ideally Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Data-driven marketer, familiar with budget and market analysis and reporting.
  • Digital marketing expertise, competent using digital analytics tools and managing social media channels.
  • Fluent in written & verbal English. Other languages are an advantage.
