This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and integration of the Demand Planning process within the organization. The person in this position will report to the Head of Global Planning and will oversee the demand planning function for our prescription medications. Responsibilities

  • Lead the demand planning processes to support business objectives and align demand expectations with capacity.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, ensure adherence to best practices, and enhance the accuracy of forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, supply chain, and marketing to ensure that customer demand is effectively met while optimizing inventory levels.
  • Utilise excellent communication and analytical skills essential to the success of this role.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and planning within a pharmaceutical or FMCG setting.
  • Proven ability to lead and improve processes with a strong understanding of S&OP methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficient in using demand planning software and ERP systems; familiarity with tools like SAP, JD Edwards and Logility is mandatory.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends and insights that influence demand planning.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and timelines effectively.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a strategic outlook on planning processes.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapid growth, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
