We have an exciting opportunity for a Category Buyer to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to our Director or Procurement and be a member of the Procurement team.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Category Buyer to join our Global procurement team.
This role is ideal for candidates with a background in engineering and some experience in project management, who are looking to grow their career in supply chain and procurement. You will support sourcing activities, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to cross-functional projects to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of raw materials.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing of Direct and API materials in line with project requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Project teams to understand technical specifications and procurement needs
- Assist in the Source to Contract Process and Category Management activities
- Track and manage materials deliveries to ensure Suppliers performance is met
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in ERP systems
- Support supplier onboarding and performance evaluation processes
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and contribute to overall procurement performance optimization
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, etc.)
- Experience in a procurement or project coordination role
- Familiarity with procurement processes, supplier management, and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
- Understanding of technical drawings and specifications
