We have an exciting opportunity for an Artwork Lifecycle Partner Lead to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to the Associate Director Artwork Lifecycle & Compliance and be a member of the Global Development Operations team.
The core responsibility of the of Artwork Lifecycle Partner Lead is to oversee the Development Outsourced Service Provider to ensure effective prioritization, planning, and execution of artwork packaging updates and product launches across Norgine\’s global product portfolio. This role involves assigning clear artwork objectives to the service provider, communicating approved artwork changes to Norgine manufacturing sites and teams, and managing the Artwork Planned Deviation process on behalf of Global Development Operations.
This will be a permanent role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Oversee the artwork activities with the Development Outsourced Service Provider(s) to successfully deliver all artwork projects efficiently and on time, including the artwork activities for Norgine customers
- Monitor completion of Artwork activities, through Flash reports to ensure artwork updates have been completed to meet Company objectives and Stakeholder requirements
- Participate in the Development oversight and Strategic alignment meetings and Brand Team meetings acting as the SME for artwork related activities making sure that what is coming through is as expected and within the scope of the strategy for the business in relation to artwork
- Advise Development Outsourced Service Provider(s) of any new business requirements identified from internal meetings to ensure awareness of upcoming artwork activities. Resolve roadblocks
- Act as the escalation point for Development Outsourced Service Provider in relation to artwork activities to resolve any capacity or resource bottle necks/clashes and able to find solutions/prioritise/escalate accordingly in discussions with internal stakeholders
- Has financial oversight of expenditure and is able to analyse and review trends using metrics supplied by Development Outsourced Service Provider to confirm expenditure vs budget for the artwork related activities. Act as approver for invoicing
- Advise LCM Managers of progress, ensuring that dependencies are identified, tracked and managed, communicated and manage any risks
- Lead and coordinate artwork implementation meetings with site teams to assess impact of artwork implementation on production schedules and advise Development Outsourced Service Provider
- Act as action owner for any deviation and CAPAs in relation to artwork as required
- Facilitate the completion of the Artwork Planned Deviation (APD) process on behalf of Development
- Use GDO systems and tools to identify and manage potential risks and issues; working alongside the Development System team to understand key measures and expectations and implement. Participating in CI activities and lean initiatives to continually improve artwork services/process
- Manages relationships with key customers, print suppliers and CMOs
- Contribute to the Development Outsourced Service Provider governance meetings by raising topics in relation to Artwork activities for resolution as required
- Act as deputy for the Associate Director, Artwork Lifecycle
- Maintain an understanding of the wider packaging and pharmaceutical industry regarding regulatory and legal information, in relation to artwork requirements
- Remains knowledgeable about current regulations and guidance, interprets and notifies appropriate personnel
- Adheres to Norgine compliance policies
Requirements
- Several years\’ experience in the artwork environment
- General knowledge of worldwide requirements related to management of pharmaceutical (both Rx and Consumer Health) packaging artwork
- Strong understanding of project and programme management methodologies, tools and techniques
- Proven project management and stakeholder management experience in the pharmaceutical sector in relation to artwork management, with a successful record of delivery
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail to review reports, trends and keep oversight of budgets
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience in managing external service providers
