Overview

The person holding this position will report to the Director - IT Lead and be a member of the IT team. The core responsibility of the IT Support Analyst is to be accountable for 1st/2nd line support on all aspects of the IT infrastructure. The role will cover desktop hardware/software through to the server infrastructure for local areas. This is a permanent role requiring regular travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for all aspects of the IT infrastructure at regional level.
  • Provide IT training when required.
  • Raise and track non-stock IT purchasing in line with the approved budget and forecast and ensure the delivery of IT orders.
  • Ensure service desk incidents/requests are resolved effectively and within the agreed SLA.
  • Contribute to and follow all IT processes as required by IT Management.
  • Actively participate in local/global projects and process improvements as required by IT Management.
  • Participate in new hardware evaluation processes and cyber security or IT awareness sessions.
  • Initiate or participate in best practice activities with IT colleagues and build relationships with the business to ensure effective IT service delivery.
  • Administer Active Directory accounts; provide LAN/WAN support; manage third-party maintenance and support providers.
  • Frequent travel within Europe; occasional out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Experience in IT/1st line support within an MS environment and with Apple devices.
  • Excellent verbal and written English; fluent in German, Italian or Spanish.
  • Project management experience and knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of GxP, GAMP and regulatory guidelines is highly desirable.
  • Strong business process understanding and ability to communicate ideas in business-friendly language.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; service orientation; ability to work without supervision; motivated and enthusiastic; committed team player.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, O365, Intune; helpdesk troubleshooting; ServiceNow.
