Overview
Analyst – Global Logistics Real Estate role at Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM) within the Real Estate group, Active Strategies area, Global Logistics Real Estate team. The Global Logistics Real Estate team operates from London and New York and manages unlisted investments in the industrial and logistics sector across North America and Europe. The team oversees a portfolio valued at over $25bn GAV, representing over 35% of NBIM’s global unlisted real estate portfolio by NAV. The position is based in London and reports to the Head of Global Logistics Real Estate (based in New York). Occasional travel to assets in Continental Europe, North America, and the UK is required.
Location: 3 Old Burlington Street, London, W1S 3AE.
Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous financial analysis and modelling for new investment opportunities
- Prepare investment committee presentations and memoranda
- Monitor and analyse the operational and financial performance of existing investments
- Assist with the daily management of existing real estate investments, including interaction with joint venture partners and third-party service providers
- Contribute to group collaboration and knowledge sharing across the NBIM organisation
Qualifications
- University degree with strong academic records
- 2–4 years of relevant real estate investment experience, preferably from a top real estate, investment or fund manager
- Experience in the industrial and logistics sector is advantageous
- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills; high proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
