Could you help someone regain their confidence and independence? If you want to make a real difference in your community, we would love to hear from you – even if you have never worked in Social Care before. At Norfolk First Response, our reablement approach supports individuals to do things for themselves. We use techniques that support retraining or regaining skills and building confidence to maximise their independence for a period of up to 6 weeks.

What does the role involve?

  • You will assist and support individuals in their home with tasks to enable them to regain their independence. This may include personal care, medication administration, supervising transfers and mobility, nutritional and hydration needs.

What we are looking for:

  • A caring, empathetic person who wants to be the difference in someone’s life.
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle (to visit people in their homes).
  • No previous experience required – we will provide full training.

We have the following salaried contracts available: West 16.5 to 25.75 hours, North 27.75 to 30 hours, Norwich 27 to 34.5 hours, East 16.5 to 23.5 hours, South various hours available.

We have roles based across the county, on a rota that balances mornings (7:30am–2pm or 8am–2:30pm) and evenings (4:30pm–9pm or 5pm–10pm). Hours are averaged over two weeks, giving you the ability to plan ahead and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
