A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Broads South Reserves team based at the incredible NWT Upton Broad and Marshes Nature Reserve, with over 300ha site of open Broad, reed bed and fen, wet woodland and open grazing marsh. The role will be varied and work across 10 sites predominantly within the Bure and Ant Valleys.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and practical person who will carry out a variety of tasks, including habitat management and infrastructure maintenance using machinery such as an Iron Horse, tractors and boats. This is an exciting time to be joining the team with a brand-new site at Sotshole Broad starting its restoration journey. The successful candidate will have a good basic knowledge of wildlife conservation and habitat management techniques as well as effective communication skills, both with colleagues and members of the public. The post will work within a close-knit team and an ability to work well with colleagues is vital. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working on a nature reserve or similar. Experience and/or training in tractor operation, chainsaw, brush-cutter, livestock handling, and first aid would be an advantage.

In return, we offer a competitive benefits package.
