The position

We are looking to a Senior Analyst within our Performance Analysis Team of the Analytics and Insight department which provides analysis and research support to the performance functions in both constabularies. An Senior Analyst in the Performance Team will lead a team that uses a data‑led approach to create insightful analysis to drive decision making in line with local and national performance frameworks. They will provide analytical support through products which focus on answering the right questions in the right way to make appropriate and proportionate recommendations. The post available is offered on a permanent basis. It is desired that you have experience of applying analytical techniques to information from a diverse range of sources, the insights of which are used to drive decision making. This experience may be from working in a variety of industries, either in private, public or third sectors. Whilst experience of working in policing may be beneficial, it is not a pre‑requisite for applications.

The residency requirement for this role is five years. Please read the Eligibility Criteria information detailed below.

Location

Our analytical teams are currently home‑based for most of the time, but there will be a requirement for occasional office‑based working, however there is flexibility should office‑based working be preferred. The office locations are the Norfolk Police Headquarters in Wymondham or the Suffolk Police Headquarters in Martlesham.
