An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Integrated Commissioning Team (Children’s Services) within the Specialist and Complex Commissioning Team. In this role, you will support the Children’s Services integrated commissioning team with specific streams of commissioning activity involving complex and specialist support services. You will assist in delivering commissioned services by monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.
You will participate in stakeholder events and consultations with providers, support project activities through managing small pilot projects, maintain project plans, and collect and analyze data for commissioning and partnership work. We are seeking a highly motivated and committed individual to contribute to our successful team.
Main Duties- Develop and manage procurement and contract management processes to support the delivery of commissioned services.
- Engage in regular stakeholder contract meetings, engagement events, and consultations.
- Monitor the effectiveness and quality of commissioned services through direct observations, site visits, and data analysis, producing performance reports for stakeholders.
- Work with providers to ensure quality standards are maintained and gather market intelligence.
- Establish and implement best practices based on data and observations.
- Contribute to the development of a locality commissioning performance management framework.
- Monitor comments, compliments, and complaints concerning commissioned services, investigate issues, and escalate persistent problems.
- Advise service providers on service specifications, data requirements, invoice queries, or service delivery variations.
