We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers/Occupational Therapists (grade J and above), Practice Consultants and Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should you leave within two years of employment.
For experienced Social Workers new to Norfolk County Council we promise to try and match or better your existing salary, providing it in the spectrum of the grade advertised.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of case holding Assistant Practitioners and Occupational Therapists across all adult social services disciplines in a fast-moving dynamic environment.
- Manage workflow and provide casework consultancy to Assistant Practitioners.
- Work closely with locality colleagues to shape the ‘front door’ services for the future.
- Be a registered Social Worker with Social Work England, with three years post qualifying social care/health employment experience.
- Contribute to the change agenda, particularly in shaping the ‘front door’ services.
Qualifications
- Registered Social Worker with Social Work England or HCPC as a practising social worker/Occupational Therapist.
- Three years post qualifiers social care/health employment experience.
- Passion for supporting adults in need of care and support at a time of crisis.
- Motivated to take the next step in career and to develop professional knowledge through further training as a Best Interest Assessor, Approved Mental Health Practitioner or Practice Educator.
