Children’s Services are seeking to recruit Early Help SEND Advisors based in the Partner & Community SEND and Inclusion Support Line Team. You will be responsible for liaising with services, families and their networks to identify the most appropriate support and be the first step in coordinating responses. The work can be complex and no contact will be the same, so adaptability and flexibility are essential. You will triage, provide information, advice and guidance on a wide range of services, provide telephone responses, manage requests for support, and liaise with internal and external partners to ensure the right support from the right source to meet the family’s needs around Special Education Needs and Inclusion. The role is office based with telephone and email communication, so experience of communicating verbally and in writing is essential, and accurate case recording with the ability to follow processes and use computer packages is required alongside excellent communication skills.
