This is an exciting opportunity to join the Transformation, Partnerships and Place team in the Central Area covering Norwich and South Norfolk within Adult Social Care.

We are looking for a Commissioning Manager to join us in:

  • Leading and implementing transformation through working in a collaborative way with partners, including on significant joint projects and workstreams and supporting large scale programmes as part of our Transformation journey.
  • Leading and supporting high quality monitoring, contracting and commissioning with a focus on delivering improved social and health outcomes for our population.
  • Building strong relationships, engagement and joint working between social care, partners and providers to support our local system.

The Transformation, Partnerships and Place team in Adult Social Care has been established to strengthen the focus on core elements of social care delivery at Place in a more relational way and build closer working relationships between social care, partners, and providers. This comes at an exciting time in the development of Norfolk’s social care and health system, and the role will include working on innovative and strategically important projects that will impact a wide variety of areas.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about communities and achieving good outcomes for people to support high quality commissioning by delivering, contributing to and supporting the development of services in Norfolk.

You should have experience of working on projects, analysing data, partnership working across a range of organisations and an ability to provide pro-active support to members of the senior management team with good organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
