In this role you drive the delivery and quality of the Supported Accommodation Homes, ensuring young people are at the center of every decision. You will lead and develop staff teams, guide crisis response, and uphold regulatory standards. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage performance of senior practitioners and staff teams
  • Provide leadership and support to ensure services meet departmental standards
  • Lead ongoing development of the homes using feedback from young people, families, and partners
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and national standards (incl. Ofsted)
  • Contribute to service improvements and change management
  • Participate in on-call rota for weekends, evenings, and bank holidays
  • Maintain high professional standards and effective communication
  • Support cross-team collaboration and crisis response

Key requirements

  • Background in residential care or experience with children and families
  • Significant post-qualification experience relevant to the role
  • Qualify to work with children/young people or families (or equivalent experience)
  • Level 5 qualification in management (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Ability to meet National Minimum Standards and regulatory requirements
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
