In this role you will steer the SEND and Inclusion Support Model across multiple zones, translating local intelligence into system-wide improvements. You will line-manage Zone and phase managers, ensuring delivery aligns with Children’s Services priorities. You’ll synthesize data from settings and partners to inform resource planning, safeguarding, and transformation. The role offers autonomy to shape local SEND reform and contribute to Norfolk’s Flourish vision.

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior accountable leadership for the SEND and Inclusion Support Model across your portfolio
  • Line manage Zone Managers and phase managers, setting objectives and coaching performance
  • Maintain operational oversight across zones and phases, addressing capacity and consistency issues
  • Lead transformation, future planning and continuous improvement using evidence and learning
  • Provide senior leadership to governance structures and ensure clear performance, risk and assurance information
  • Synthesise complex data and intelligence into concise recommendations for senior decision-makers
  • Influence education, health and wider Children’s Services partners to align resources for better outcomes
