Pension Officer | 11208 | Permanent Contract | 37 hours per week | 30,023 to 32,046 per annum | (Grade F) | County Hall, Norwich An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Officer to join our Member Services Team at Norfolk Pension Fund. You will play an important part in delivering a high-quality service to members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS). You will process casework accurately and efficiently, ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant legislation and scheme rules. Norfolk Pension Fund administers the LGPS for over 436 employers and around 100,000 members and beneficiaries, managing assets worth more than 6 billion.You will contribute to the effective delivery of pension services through strong case management, attention to detail and excellent customer service.About the roleAs a Pensions Officer, you will:Support the day-to-day delivery of member services for active and deferred members.Maintain and update member records with accuracy and attention to detail, supporting the effective management and delivery of pension benefits and services. Ensure casework is completed accurately and within agreed timescales, in line with LGPS regulations, HMRC requirements, performance standards and best practice. Process short-service leaver cases accurately and efficiently, applying LGPS regulations and scheme procedures.Liaise with pension providers and members to obtain and process details of previous pension rights. What we are looking for:We are looking for someone who:Has good numeracy, literacy and problem-solving skills.Holds GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).Has experience in a customer-focused service delivery, pensions or business support role.Has good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.Delivers excellent customer service with accuracy and attention to detail.Experience in pensions case management, or customer service delivery would be advantageous.
