Temporary Contract (12 months) | £41,173 to £45,442 per annum (Grade K) | 37 hours per week | Norwich

We are looking for a highly motivated project manager to join the Greater Norwich Project Team on a maternity cover basis. This role serves as an exciting opportunity to develop your career within an award-winning team who work to accelerate the delivery of strategic infrastructure across the full Greater Norwich area.

You will be working in a fast-paced project management environment, prioritising workloads to hit multiple deadlines and dealing with a wide range of people including senior members and officers.

You will oversee and co-ordinate the monitoring of the Greater Norwich Local Plan Review whilst supporting the partners to deliver additional workstreams needed as part of the implementation phase of the Plan. It is a pivotal position providing a main point of contact between the board members, the directors and the district planning policy managers. You will be responsible for co-ordinating all meetings, ensuring they are undertaken in accordance with partnership agreement and government policy.

The team works alongside Norfolk County Council’s Infrastructure and Development team. The role supports the work directed by the Greater Norwich Development Partnership which encompasses three district authorities: Broadland District Council, Norwich City Council, and South Norfolk Council who work in partnership with Norfolk County Council.

We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements, but the team are required to regularly meet in person across the partnership authority offices.
