Deputy Care Home Manager
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends, and on-call support
Location: Long Stratton, Norfolk
We are seeking a passionate, driven, and compassionate Deputy Care Home Manager to join our incredible team at The Mayfields Care Home. If you are someone who thrives on leadership, enjoys making an impact, and wants to be part of a supportive and growing team, this is the perfect role for you!
Working 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends, split over 3 to 4 supernumerary days and 1 to 2 care floor support days.

What We Are Looking For:
- Previous management experience within the care sector
- Someone who truly cares about our residents and leads with kindness, empathy, and understanding
- You will manage multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and ensure all procedures are followed to a high standard
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the Care Team: Set high standards of care and work alongside the care staff to implement them
- Managing the Home in the GM's Absence: Ensure smooth operations when the General Manager is unavailable – your leadership will ensure continuity and stability
- Audit & Quality Control: Work with the General Manager to set and review home standards, including ensuring monthly audits are conducted
- Medications & Procedures: Ensure medications are administered properly and that all procedures are followed to keep both staff and residents safe
- Rotas & Staffing: Prepare and manage clinical staff rotas to ensure that our residents' needs are always met
- Administrative Duties: Maintaining accurate records, responding to complaints, and ensuring compliance with CQC and other regulatory bodies
