Hours: Part Time 22.5 hours per week

Work Pattern: 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Location: Sale Road, Norwich, NR7 with travel to other sites in and around Norfolk and Waveney as and when required. The role will require travel; therefore a driver’s license with business insurance and access to a vehicle is essential for this role. Mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.

Salary: £25,134 per annum, salary will be pro rata for part time hours.

Norfolk and Waveney Mind is seeking a proactive and organised Quality Assurance Administrator to provide essential administrative support to our Assurance team. This role plays a key part in supporting organisational risk management, quality, compliance, auditing, and health and safety activities, helping to ensure our services remain safe, effective and high quality.

About The Role

You will support the Quality Assurance Department with the day‑to‑day administration of quality assurance, health and safety, and compliance functions. This is a varied role requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to manage data accurately, and confidence working with policies, procedures, and reporting systems. This role reports into the Quality Assurance Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance – Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance team, including the planning, monitoring and maintenance of audit and compliance tools.
  • Assist in compiling monthly reports relating to compliments, complaints, incidents, and service quality.
  • Support the administration and maintenance of organisational policies and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate logging, updating and reporting of incidents for internal monitoring and external reporting requirements.
  • Support the administration of service continuity plan testing and follow‑up actions.
  • Review records of inspections and produce reports as required.
  • Support documentation, tracking and follow‑up of incidents and accidents, producing statistics for managers when needed.
  • Monitor health and safety registers, including risk assessments, and follow up on updates and compliance.
  • Support the Quality Assurance Officer with the effective administration and record‑keeping of Health & Safety committees or working groups.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of Health and Safety Executive (HSE) legislation and relevant updates, attending appropriate training as required.

About You

You will be well organised, methodical and confident working with data and documentation. You will have strong administrative skills, good IT literacy (including spreadsheets and databases), and the ability to prioritise tasks within a busy department. Experience in quality assurance, compliance, health and safety, or a regulated environment would be desirable but is not essential.
