Communications Officer Marketing

Hours: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

Work Pattern: Monday – Friday 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Salary: Β£27,219 per annum

Location: Sale Rd, Norwich NR7 9TP – Travel to various external locations as needed.

* Due to the nature of the role a driver licence and access to a vehicle is essential for this role, mileage is paid at 45p per mile for cars after your home to work base mileage is deducted.

Overview

Join Norfolk and Waveney Mind as our Communications Officer and play a vital role in raising awareness, shaping our message \”No one should have to face poor mental health alone\”

In this role, you will oversee both internal and external communications, ensuring consistent, clear, and engaging messaging across various channels. From media relations and emergency communications to content creation and internal bulletins, you will help amplify the voice of our charity and support our mission to improve mental health and wellbeing across Norfolk and Waveney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field media inquiries, issue press releases, and coordinate media tours.
  • Develop and implement communication plans for new services and initiatives.
  • Create engaging content for internal bulletins, newsletters, and the website.
  • Support fundraising and marketing efforts with compelling copy.
  • Provide in-house proofreading and refinement of materials.
