Job overview
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Support Team Administrator for our Older Peoples Service. The candidate will support the Community Team, Memory and Treatment Service and the Intensive Support Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator who has an interest in the wellbeing of our service users and who has the passion to provide strong administration support, essential for the successful and efficient operation of our teams.

Main duties of the job
Please note working days will be Monday, Thursday & Friday
You will need to be able to demonstrate the strength of your communication, prioritisation and administration skills with a dedication to confidentiality and service user experience.
Previous administration experience is essential. The role will include but is not limited to general administration, minuting meetings, diary management and entering patient data.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment using a range of clinical systems and Microsoft packages. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook will be essential. Knowledge of the Trust system Lorenzo would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.

Qualifications
- NVQ 3 in Business Administration or equivalent of working towards
- NVQ 2 Customer Services or working towards
- Pitmans/RSA III typing/word processing or equivalent secretarial experience at intermediate level
- Shorthand
- Knowledge of Trust electronic record system
Skills
- Excellent articulate communication skills
- Interpersonal skills including taking a proactive diplomatic approach and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Time management & Ability to co-ordinate and prioritise management diaries.
- ICT skills including Microsoft (especially spreadsheets and presentations, e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent. Audio typing. Advanced keyboard skills & Literacy and numeracy
Knowlesdge
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages or equivalent.
- Maintaining administrative / secretarial systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of NHS policy / procedures
Experience
