We are seeking a BEMS Commissioning Engineer to join our continually growing team. To commission, set to work and hand over BEMS projects of various types and sizes, ensuring that they operate efficiently, effectively, reliably and safely and are compliant with all specifications and design.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining frequent contact with clients to build and maintain relationships at various levels.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and existing customers, ensuring our clients are aware of all services and solutions we can offer.
- Candidates should have good BEMS knowledge and relevant industry experience, have the ability to read mechanical and electrical installation drawings, MCC schematic wiring diagrams and technical documents.
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of general building services, plant and systems and be fluent with Trend or equivalent systems and able to write and commission controller software and graphics.
- Familiarity with standard comms protocols, e.g. BACnet, Modbus, LON and associated interfaces and gateways such as SIPS, TONN.
- Responsible for handing over a fully operational system.
- Ensure operation and maintenance manuals, commissioning schedules, handover and witnessing documents are accurate.
- Co-ordination of on-site Health & Safety.
- Carry out factory acceptance testing.
- Conduct site validations.
- Identify and communicate enhancements and improvements to technical standards.
