We are currently seeking an accomplished finance professional with technical expertise to drive the financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will be ACCA qualified with experience of operating in a similar leadership role within a growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the central finance function.
- Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping and reporting.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports, including Cashflow forecasts.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures and internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP.
- Coordinate and manage the work with external auditors during the audit process.
- Analyse financial information and provide recommendations to support management decisions.
- Train and develop the central finance team to maintain high levels of competence and quality.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and tools.
Previous experience of managing a team, expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and analysis. Proficiency working with advanced ERP systems, ideally Microsoft D365 and advanced Excel. Audit experience a distinct advantage as would experience within a similar sector such as BMS, managed services or FM.
