We are seeking an industry experienced Operations Director to lead our operations team and drive the strategic execution of our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a background in building management systems or technical service delivery, leadership experience and a proven track record of implementing and managing operations and change.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives across our key business area of project delivery and service delivery
  • Lead on development of UK Service Excellence Centre, fostering collaboration and improvement on existing standard of service
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, documentation and quality across all operations functions
  • Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of operational improvement projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, clients and internal operations teams, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any operational issues promptly
  • Manage operational budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost effective operations
  • Work closely with Health & Safety Manager to ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards and company and client policies
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BMS technologies and integrate them into operational practices

The Successful Applicant
We are looking for an accomplished operations professional with the strategic insight and technical expertise to drive the operational changes of the business.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the building management systems or service oriented industry.
  • Understanding of BMS technologies and their applications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and drive operational efficiency.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
