EXPERIENCED PLANT FITTER Based North London Salary to £55k + pacakge Join a Leading Groundworks Contractor | North London A leading and well-established groundworks contractor is looking for an experienced, reliable and self-motivated Plant Fitter to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing and repair of a wide range of plant and equipment, ensuring machinery is kept safe, reliable and operational. The ideal candidate will have: 15+ years experience as a Plant Fitter
Experience working on small tools and small plant
Experience with dumpers from 3t9t
Experience with excavators from 5t20t
Previous experience maintaining and repairing JCB forklifts and excavators
Experience with Hitachi excavators
Experience with Thwaites dumpers
Own tools
Good welding skills
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities
The ability to source replacement parts locally and organise repairs efficiently
A proactive, hands-on approach to all aspects of plant maintenance
The ability to work independently and take responsibility for getting jobs completed to a high standard
