Experienced Vehicle Repair & Maintenance Fitter / Mechanic Location: Chertsey, Surrey KT16 Salary to £55k + package I am looking for an experienced Vehicle Repair & Maintenance Fitter / Mechanic to join a leading groundworks contractor. The ideal person will have 10+ years experience in vehicle mechanics and small tools repairs, be self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently as well as alongside our existing team of two mechanics/fitters. The role will include: Carrying out vehicle repairs, servicing and general maintenance Diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues Repair and maintenance of small tools and equipment Collecting and dropping off vans at sites before and after repairs, servicing and MOTs Helping keep vehicles and equipment maintained to a high standard Working as part of a small, friendly and experienced team About you: 10+ years experience in vehicle mechanics and/or mechanical fitting Strong practical mechanical skills and problem-solving ability Self-motivated, reliable and able to work on your own initiative Comfortable working as part of a small team Full UK driving licence Welding skills to a decent standard would be an advantage A flexible, hands-on approach and pride in your work If youre an experienced mechanic/fitter looking for a varied, hands-on role within an established team, I would like to hear from you.
