About the Company:

We are working closely with an established and highly regarded UK civils contractor who have secured a major pipeline of work across the power and energy sector. Delivering across Hampshire, Dorset and Berkshire, projects range in value from £1m to £20m and cover a broad scope of civils disciplines within critical energy infrastructure.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Divisional Director, the Contracts Manager will take overall commercial and operational responsibility across multiple concurrent projects. You will provide strong leadership to a team of Project Managers and site-based teams, drive programme delivery, manage risk across the portfolio and maintain strong client relationships at a senior level. Scope of works spans enabling works, earthworks, RC structures, foundations, M&E civils and finishings. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the portfolio is delivered safely, on programme and within the financial targets set for the business.

About You:

  • Proven track record as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager ready to step up, with a structured career background from an established Tier 1 or Tier 2 civils contractor
  • Degree qualified and ideally Chartered (ICE / CIOB)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across a regional portfolio
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing NEC or other standard form contracts
  • Confident client-facing communicator at Director level
  • Proven background delivering heavy civils projects within the power, energy or infrastructure sectors
