About the Role

Nordic Knots is a Swedish design house building a new standard for rugs and home. We are growing fast and expanding our physical footprint. We will soon be opening our first concession at Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge in London, and are recruiting the team to represent Nordic Knots as true brand ambassadors and knowledgeable consultants. You will be the face of Nordic Knots within one of the city's most iconic department stores, responsible for driving sales, delivering an elevated client experience, and ensuring the shop-in-shop is impeccably presented and operationally seamless.

We're looking for someone with a strong sense of design, interiors and luxury sales, who can work closely with the Harvey Nichols team while championing our brand standards, aesthetic and service approach. As part of our Retail Team at Nordic Knots, you enjoy connecting with people, you are passionate about interior design, and motivated to help the brand build lasting client relationships. You bring warmth, expertise, and commercial awareness to every interaction, ensuring clients feel inspired and supported. The ideal candidate has a background in retail and interior design or category-specific experience in rugs, curtains, and home textiles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement & Sales: Deliver exceptional service in-store to both private clients and design professionals, offering knowledgeable guidance on our collection of rugs, curtains, and textiles, converting sales through engaging, personalised interactions.
  • Support & Administration: Manage follow-ups, quotations, and client communication with accuracy and efficiency, maintaining a service-driven and proactive approach.
  • Showroom Presentation: Maintain upkeep of spatial design and showroom presentation in accordance with brand & styling guidelines through meticulous organisation and attention to detail.
  • Sample Inventory & Logistics: Support ordering, deliveries, and supply management for product samples and store operations.
  • Product Learning: Complement product training with a proactive approach to using available resources to continuously deepen product knowledge.
  • Systems & Tools: Utilise available tools and systems effectively to support a seamless client journey.
  • Budget Ownership: Eagerly and comfortably work towards achieving and exceeding ambitious store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Concession Liaison: Build strong working relationships with Harvey Nichols floor management and staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day collaboration and alignment with store operating procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in premium retail or a background in interior design.
  • Category knowledge in rugs, curtains, or home textiles preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a refined client service approach.
  • Organised and detail-oriented with the ability to balance client-facing duties and operational tasks.
  • Commercially minded & motivated by delivering results while upholding high standards of service.
  • Proactive & hands-on team player.
  • Flexible availability with the requirement to work on weekends.
