Keyhaven Yacht Club is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Finance Officer to support the effective financial management of the organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong financial skills who is looking for a part-time role within a supportive office-based team.
Responsibilities:
- Management of KYC accounting system and Sailing Club Manager database for the preparation of timely monthly management and year end accounts.
- Manage and run weekly and monthly payroll.
- Prepare monthly accounts and quarterly VAT returns.
- Produce timely year end accounts to submit to company auditors.
- Fully manage annual subscriptions including the dinghy park.
- Maintain fixed asset register.
- Management of day-to-day financial activities relating to Sail Club Manager especially relating to memberships.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in a finance role with computerized accounts systems and an in-depth knowledge of Excel and major Microsoft programs.
- The candidate will hold an AAT Level 4 (minimum) as well as having strong communication, numerical and organisational skills.
- A sound knowledge of current accounting practices and extensive analytical skills is highly desirable.
Working arrangements:
- Part-time hours: 15 per week (3 x 5 hour days, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday)
- Salary: Pro rata Β£14,615 per annum
- There is free on-site parking.
