Nordex has an exciting opportunity for the role of Project Coordinator based at our UK Head Office in Manchester.

Contract Type: Permanent

Role Location: Didsbury, Manchester

Hours: Our core hours are 37 hours per week with a 3pm finish on a Friday.

What will you be doing?

  • Support the UK and Ireland Project Managers with managing sales projects from contract signed to delivery of the project and handover to the customer.
  • Work closely with teams across Tender, Logistics, Projects and Commercial management to ensure projects run smoothly and to time and budget.
  • Provide support to the Tender team during the sales phase, including developing handover and contract documentation.
  • Co-ordinate handover meetings from Sales to Projects.
  • Participate in customer meetings and site visits when required.
  • Assist Project Managers in preparing Health & Safety plan and Environmental & Quality plan.
  • Assist with regular report requirements.
  • Administration and co-ordination of subcontractors and sub-supplier contracts and purchase orders.
  • Support Project Managers with documentation, reporting and cost allocation.
  • Work with Commercial Project Managers on financial details.
  • Support the Logistics and Planning team to define and manage logistics contractors.
  • Liaise with HSE contractors to organise H&S equipment and documentation.
  • Participate in meetings with the project support team and deputise for Project Managers in their absence.
  • Co-ordinate orders and deliveries with Site Managers to ensure timely delivery to the correct locations.
  • Co-ordinate multiple projects and support the Project Manager on project handovers.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience of working in a Project Coordinator role, ideally within the wind energy sector or a similar industry.
  • Knowledge of the technical, commercial and political aspects driving the wind industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task across different projects.
  • Customer-centric approach to everything you do.
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn, lead and continuously improve.
  • Computer literate and confident in using MS Office packages including MS Project.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to your work.
  • May require occasional travel, including nights away from home.
  • A full UK / EU Driving Licence is required for this role.
