Nordex UK have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supply Chain & Procurement Intern starting in Summer 2027.

Contract Type: 12-month Internship starting in August 2027

Location: Didsbury, Manchester

Hours: Our people work a 37-hour week which includes a 3pm finish on Fridays.

Please be aware successful candidates are required to commit to a 12-month, full time placement

How can you make a difference?

Our Supply Chain & Procurement Intern will support the team, ensuring efficient sourcing, purchasing and delivery of goods and services across Nordex UK & Ireland

This is a 12-month internship for a placement student who is looking to gain hands on experience in a busy environment to developing skills in supply chain and procurement.

What will you be doing?

  • Maintaining and updating supplier and procurement databases
  • Analysis of procurement spending and identifying cost saving opportunities
  • Supporting with resolution of supply chain issues
  • Preparing procurement reports
  • Ensuring procurement activities comply with Nordex policies and procedures
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects within the supply chain and procurement team

What are we looking for?

You will either be:

  • Studying a Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Management related degree and be looking to undertake a placement as part of your degree
  • A recent graduate with a Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Business Management related degree who is looking for some work experience in this role.

Other skills and behaviours required for this role include:

  • Strong organisational and attention to detail skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Numerical and Data Analysis skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • AI knowledge and how it can be used to improve efficiency
  • High level of competency in using MS Office packages
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
